Where to Find Activity Logs in Gatheroo
Gatheroo stores activity logs in three different locations depending on the type of information you’re tracking:
1. Field-Specific Activity Logs
Location: Request Preview Tab
When you need to see detailed activity for individual fields in your request:
- Navigate to the Request Preview tab (step 3 in your workflow)
- Look for the “Activity Log” button at the bottom right of each field
- Click to view a detailed timeline showing:
- Field started by user
- Field submitted by user
- Changes made by user
- Updated field options by user
- Timestamps for every action
Perfect for: Tracking exactly when someone started, modified, or completed a specific question or field in your request.
2. Invitation Activity Logs
Location: Published & Sent Tab
To track the overall status of your request invitations:
- Click on the “Published & Sent” tab (you’ll need to publish the request before activity logs start tracking here)
- Scroll down to the “Invitation activity” section
- View a complete log including:
- Request published by a team member
- Request opened by a client (through their magic link)
- Request completed by a client (through their magic link or a team member through the “Request Preview” page)
- All associated timestamps in your account’s local time

3. Downloading Activity Logs in Gatheroo
Location: PDF Download Options
To include activity logs in your exported request documentation:
- Go to your Requests dashboard
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the Actions column next to your request
- Select “Download” from the dropdown menu
- In the Download Options dialog:
- Select PDF (Portable Document File)
- Toggle “Include Activity Logs” to ON (green)
- Click “Start Download“
Your PDF will now contain complete activity logs for both invitation activity and field-specific actions.

What Information Do Activity Logs Show?
Activity logs capture detailed information including:
- User identification: Who took the action(based on the link URL used)
- Action type: Started, submitted, changed, completed, opened, published
- Precise timestamps: Date and time with timezone
- Chronological order: Most recent actions typically appear first
