What this field does: The Single Line of Text field collects a short, single-line response from clients. For example, a reference number, account name or any brief piece of information. You can restrict it to numbers only, set character or digit length requirements, and enable end-to-end encryption for sensitive data.

How to add a Single Line of Text field

  1. Open your request in the Request Builder.
  2. In the left-hand field menu, click Single Line of Text to add it to the current section.
  3. Click the field on the canvas to open its settings on the right.
  4. Enter a Field Name – this is the question your client will see.
  5. Optionally add a Placeholder – example text shown inside the field before the client types.
