Global Settings control account-wide configuration for your Gatheroo workspace, covering company branding, email domain, team permissions, timezone, dynamic content, and billing.
Most Global Settings are accessible only to the account Owner, or to Admin users if the Owner has granted them access via Manage User Roles.
Accessing Global Settings In Gatheroo
Select Global Settings from the left-hand menu.
The settings visible to you will depend on your user role.
The account Owner always has full access to all Global Settings.
Admin users can be granted access to specific areas.
Members do not have access to Global Settings by default.
Company Details
Upload your company logo and enter your business information, including:
- company name
- address
- a brief description.
These details are used across Gatheroo to brand your workspace and the communications sent to your clients.
Domain Verification
Verify your email domain so Gatheroo can send client emails from your own domain, for example, info@yourcompany.com.
This improves email deliverability and ensures your clients recognise the sender.
Verification is done by adding DNS records provided by Gatheroo to your domain registrar (such as GoDaddy or Cloudflare).

Local Timezone
Set the timezone for your Gatheroo account.
This controls when scheduled requests are sent and when automated reminder notifications are delivered.
The activity logs will also use this timezome.
Dynamic Fields
Create reusable content variables that can be inserted into editor fields across Gatheroo.
Give each field a label (e.g. “Client Success Manager A”) and a value (e.g. “John Bloggs”), and Gatheroo generates a shortcode you can insert anywhere in your request content.
Update the value once and it updates everywhere it is used.

Billing Details
View and manage your Gatheroo subscription, payment method, and billing history.
Upgrade Plan
Compare Gatheroo plans and upgrade your subscription to unlock additional features and higher usage limits.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can access Global Settings in Gatheroo?
The account Owner always has full access to all Global Settings.
Admin users can be granted access to specific areas, such as Company Details or Billing Details, by the Owner, via Manage User Roles.
Members do not have access to Global Settings by default.
How do I let my team send emails from our company domain in Gatheroo?
First complete Domain Verification in Global Settings to verify your domain.
Once verified, each team member can go to My Account → Email Settings to set their preferred email address at that domain.
Emails sent from Gatheroo will then come from your verified domain rather than noreply@gatheroo.io.
What are Dynamic Fields in Gatheroo and when should I use them?
Dynamic Fields are reusable content variables, for example a recurring date, a quarter label, or a standard phrase you use across multiple requests.
Instead of updating the same text in multiple places, you define it once as a Dynamic Field and insert the shortcode wherever you need it.
When the value changes, you update it once and it updates everywhere automatically.
How do I add my company logo to Gatheroo?
Go to Global Settings → Company Details and click the logo upload area.
Select a JPEG, JPG, PNG, or GIF file up to 3.1 MB. Your logo will appear on your Gatheroo account and on request invitations sent to your clients.
How do I stop Gatheroo emails going to my clients’ spam folder?
Set up Domain Verification in Global Settings.
Adding the DNS records provided by Gatheroo to your domain registrar tells email providers that Gatheroo is authorised to send on your behalf, which significantly improves email deliverability.
