What this field does: The Phone field collects a phone number from clients in a validated format. It ensures the number entered looks like a valid phone number, reducing errors caused by clients entering text or incorrectly formatted numbers.

How to add a Phone field

  1. Open your request in the Request Builder.
  2. In the left-hand field menu, click Phone to add it to the current section.
  3. Click the field on the canvas to open its settings.
  4. Enter a Field Name and optional Placeholder.

Available field settings

  • Mandatory: requires the client to complete this field before submitting.
  • Repeatable: allows the client to add more than one phone number.

What clients see

Clients see a text input field with phone number formatting. Invalid entries (such as letters) will prompt a validation message before the form can be submitted.
