What this field does: The Link field collects a URL or web address from clients with basic format validation. Use it to ask clients for a website, LinkedIn profile, portfolio link, or any other web address.

How to add a Link field

  1. Open your request in the Request Builder.
  2. Select “+ Add a field” and click Link to add it to the current section.
  3. Enter a Field Name
  4. Click the field cog on the canvas to open its settings and optional placeholder.

Available field settings

  • Mandatory: requires the client to complete this field before submitting.
  • Repeatable: allows the client to add multiple links.

What clients see

Clients see a text input. Entries that don’t resemble a valid URL will trigger a validation message.
