What this field does: The Date Range field collects a start date and an end date from clients in a single field – for example, a contract period, leave dates, or a project timeframe. It presents two date pickers and validates that the end date is after the start date.

How to add a Date Range field

  1. Open your request in the Request Builder.
  2. Click on “+ Add a field” and select Date Range to add it to the current section.
  3. Enter a Field Name.
  4. Click the field cog on the canvas to open its settings.

Available field settings

  • Mandatory: requires the client to select both dates before submitting.
  • Repeatable: allows the client to add multiple date ranges.

What clients see

Clients see two date pickers – one for the start date and one for the end date – labelled clearly. If the end date is set before the start date, a validation message appears.
