What this field does: The Date field collects a single date from clients using a date picker. Use it to capture dates of birth, invoice dates, event dates or any single-point-in-time information.
How to add a Date field
- Open your request in the Request Builder.
- Click on “+ Add a Field” then select Date to add it to the current section.
- Enter a Field Name – this is typically in the form of a question
- Select the Settings Cog to access settings such as making the field mandatory.
Available field settings
- Mandatory: requires the client to select a date before submitting.
- Conditional: show or hide the field based on a previous answer.
What clients see
Clients see a date input with a calendar date picker. Dates can be selected from the picker or clients can type a free-form date by selecting the pen setting.
