What this does: Gatheroo can automatically send reminder emails (and SMS, on Medium and above plans) to clients who haven’t completed their request. Reminders are set per request and run on a schedule you define – for example, every 3 days until the due date, then stop. You can also set rules to stop reminders after a certain date or number of sends, so you’re not pestering clients indefinitely.
Setting up reminders on a request
- Open or create a request.
- Go to Request Settings → Notifications & Reminders.
- Turn on Automated Reminders.
- Set the type of reminders you would like clients to receive – a reminder before the due date, a reminder on the day it’s due, and periodic reminders after the due date – for example, every 3 days.
- Set a Stop Sending After rule – either a specific date or after a set number of reminders.
- Save the request settings.
Stopping reminders on an overdue request
If a due date has passed and you want to stop sending reminders for a specific request:
- Open the request.
- Go to Request Settings → Notifications & Reminders.
- Toggle Automated Reminders off, or change the Stop Sending After date to today.
- Save.
Global reminder defaults
You can set default reminder behaviour for all new requests in My Account → Automated Reminders. Any changes here apply to new requests going forward — they don’t update existing requests.
SMS reminders
SMS reminders are available on Medium and above plans and require SMS credits. See SMS Credits and SMS Reminders for setup details.
