What this does: Schedule Send lets you prepare a request and set a specific date and time for it to be sent automatically. This is useful when you want requests to land in a client’s inbox at an optimal time – for example, first thing on a Monday morning rather than last thing on a Friday – or when you’re preparing requests in advance for a future project start date.

How to schedule a request

  1. Build and publish your request as usual.
  2. Go to step 4. Published (not sent) tab (this is called 4. Publish or 4. Published & Sent depending on the previous action taken)
  3. Instead of clicking Send, click Schedule Send.
  4. Choose the date and time you want the request to be sent.
  5. Confirm. The request status will show as Scheduled.

Editing or cancelling a scheduled send

While a request is in Scheduled status, you can change the send time or cancel it:

  1. Open the request.
  2. Go to the Send & Share tab.
  3. Click Edit Schedule to change the date/time, or Cancel Schedule to revert to a manual send.

Tip: Requests sent mid-morning on weekdays tend to get higher open rates. Use Schedule Send to consistently time your outreach without needing to be at your desk.
