What this does: Schedule Send lets you prepare a request and set a specific date and time for it to be sent automatically. This is useful when you want requests to land in a client’s inbox at an optimal time – for example, first thing on a Monday morning rather than last thing on a Friday – or when you’re preparing requests in advance for a future project start date.
How to schedule a request
- Build and publish your request as usual.
- Go to step 4. Published (not sent) tab (this is called 4. Publish or 4. Published & Sent depending on the previous action taken)
- Instead of clicking Send, click Schedule Send.
- Choose the date and time you want the request to be sent.
- Confirm. The request status will show as Scheduled.
Editing or cancelling a scheduled send
While a request is in Scheduled status, you can change the send time or cancel it:
- Open the request.
- Go to the Send & Share tab.
- Click Edit Schedule to change the date/time, or Cancel Schedule to revert to a manual send.
Tip: Requests sent mid-morning on weekdays tend to get higher open rates. Use Schedule Send to consistently time your outreach without needing to be at your desk.
