Accessing Plan Options

  1. Navigate to Billing Settings: Log into your Gatheroo account, go to the ‘Global Settings’ dashboard, and select the ‘Billing Details’ tab.
  2. View Your Current Plan: Your current subscription details, including the plan name, billing cycle, and features, will be displayed.

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Select a New Plan: Below your current plan details, you’ll see options for other plans. Click the ‘Change to [Plan Name]’ button for the plan you wish to upgrade to.
  2. Review the Plan Features: Make sure the plan you are selecting meets your needs by reviewing the features and limits.
  3. Confirm Upgrade: Confirm your choice to upgrade. The pro-rated cost of the new plan, adjusted for the remainder of your billing cycle, will be calculated and displayed.
  4. Complete Payment: Enter your payment details if required and complete the transaction. The additional features and higher limits of your new plan will be available immediately.

What Happens When You Upgrade?

  • Immediate Access: You gain immediate access to the additional features and higher limits of your new plan.
  • Pro-Rated Billing: The additional cost will be pro-rated, meaning you only pay the difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remaining period of your current billing cycle.

Downgrading Your Plan

  1. Select a Smaller Plan: Choose a plan with fewer features or lower limits if it suits your new requirements. Click ‘Change to [Plan Name]’ for the desired plan.
  2. Review and Confirm: Review the changes and confirm your selection. The changes, including the reduced rate, will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  3. Plan Changes at Renewal: Your account will retain the current plan’s features until the end of the billing period. After that, you will be moved to the new plan with its corresponding features and limits.

What Happens When You Downgrade?

  • End of Billing Cycle: The change to a lower plan and rate takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Archived Excess Members: If your new plan supports fewer users, the excess team members will be set to ‘Archive’ status.
  • Request Project and Data Limits: You will not be able to create new Request Projects if you exceed the limits of your new plan. Ensure that your usage (data storage and active projects) fits within the new plan limits to continue creating projects.

  • Check Data and Projects: Before downgrading, check your current data usage and the number of active projects to ensure they fit within the new plan’s limits.
  • Adjust Your Team: Consider which team members are essential and adjust accordingly to fit the user limits of the new plan.
